Transmission works great forward, some times you have to turn ing. Off and on real quick to shift into OD. The reverse went out but it still drops into reverse but starts to shutter and will not pull when you press gas. But if u let it idle it pulls some. St just wondering if it may be shifting sincer

It sounds like the reverse band has broken or needs adjusted.

You need to disassemble the transmission to replace it.
