Hi i just bought my 1994 caravan and it was fine i drove 400 miles to chicago and 400 miles back to michigan the day before i got my brakes fix but the car still has a bad alignment. Yesterday i noticed that the car was smelling like fuel and occasssionally the check engine light comes on. when i drove to chicago i used a tank and a half but today i drove approx 40 miles with 3/4 of a tank and now i'm down to 1/4. do you have any idea waht this could be and maybe an approximation on how much this would cost. as well as how much longer can i drive it in this condition? thanks in advance

since the check engine light is on get it scanned before moving on.

that probably holds the cheapest way to find out why its goign through this amoutn of fuel.
