Which way do you turn the bolt on the harmonic balancor to remove it?

Counter clockwise. Almost every bolt that turns in the opposite direction is marked with a L, for left-handed threads. Turn to left, is this a 3.0L? Need air and a air gun.
You can wedge it but be careful it does not slip, and hurt you. ok
