Drive Train Axles Bearings problem

I have a 94 Dodge Caravan and the right front u-joint has got one foot in the grave and it's fading fast. Do I need any special tools to change the axle. And after I get the covers removed will the top end slide out, if not what is the trick to break it loose. And how hard or easy will the new one go back in. Also do you have pictures of this process on this or anyother website.
