the van won't start/turn over. when you turn the key there is no click but the radio and lights work. we tried to change the battery and this did not work. help!!!

Welcome to the forum, what is litre size of engine? Automatic? I'd check the circuits at the starter relay, in the power distribution center, under the hood. Voltage to the load side of relay is hot all the time. Voltage to the coil side of relay goes hot with key in the crank position. Use a testlite to check for voltage.
