I had the transmission rebuilt last year. Last week it "jumped' out of gear and would not allow the van to move forward, reverse still worked. It was a very hot day. Let the car cool for a 1/2 hour, it moved about 500 feet and repeated the "false neutral" issue. Last night I was able to move the van just fine. Could this be a condition of mixed ATF fluids or a plugged transfilter or something more detrimental?

I would suspect an internal tranny issue
check ATF level and if within spec
