2007 Dodge Caliber 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic

When my car is in park and i hit the brakes a clicking sound comes from where the shifter is. When i took the the shift knob off you can and the P R D off you can see this white piece connected onto a orange orange piece with a spring and when in park the piece move when hitting brake cause its being push up by a black piece. But this only happen when in park.

That is a safety device to keep you from taking the car out of park without your foot on the brake all the newer cars have those. So thats normal.
