2007 Dodge Caliber 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

hi my question is how do i put my belt back on. the belt came of the vechicle and I don't understand why. everything is fairly new. it has 48,7mi. on it. please help me to repair this problem so it never happens again

Hi:
There is a belt tensionier that keeps the belt tight. It may have gone bad allowing the belt to get loose. Go to the "Drive Belt Routing Diagrams" link on this page for a schematic. Also, when you replace it, make sure it's tight.
