2007 Dodge Caliber 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

can i change the wheel size with out causing troubles ? have the 17" on now but would like to change to 15 or 16 as I have those tirwe on hand. I heard that the wheel size regulate the trans. operations

Each car has tire and wheel information, and gross vehicle weight specs. It is on a decal, a plate located on the drivers door, or its opening. A different wheel needs to be set into the transaxle computer's memory. Using a scan tool. Sorry. I don't want you to get in trouble with gear ratios and odometer problems.
