2007 Dodge Caliber Engine Size unknown Automatic 1000 miles

Can a blown front tire (while in drive) cause a rim to pull off the axel, causing severe undercarriage damage due to the drag? I greatly appreciate your advise! Thank you!

A blown tire should not cause the rim to come off the car unless the lug nuts are loose.
