2008 Dodge Avenger 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I want to install winter tires on my 2008 Avenger. it came equipped with 215/55/18 tires. I want to step down from the 18 inch rim/wheel if possible. is there a configuration for a smaller rim/wheel that will fit ? Other wise how do I get winter tires that will fit my exisiting rim/wheel as the tires now are low profile

If you are buying another set of wheel/tire combo, then go with the preferred 215/65-R16.
