I HAVE AN ISSUE OF MY CAR LEAKING OIL AND NOW I CAN'T DRIVE IT OVER 10 MILES WITHOUT IT RUNNING HOT. I LOOKED UNDER THE CAR AND IT LOOKS LIKE THE OIL IS LEAKING FROM THE HEAD GASKET. I WAS TOLD THAT IF THE GASKET IS SHOT THAT THE WATER WILL LEAK IN THE HEAD AND THE CAR WILL RUN HOT, CAN YOU TELL ME IF THIS IS RIGHT AND AN APPROX. REPAIR COSTS.

Various symptoms can come from a leaking head gasket including yours. You need to verify this is the leak as well as find out why the engine is running hot. It may or may not be the same source.
