1998 Dodge Avenger cracking creeking noise

when i press on the brakes there is a loud craking sound or it creeks as im stoping, it happends mostly when im only pressing it alittle when going about 10 to 20 miles an hour. i also can feel it alittle through out the car

Take it in for a steering and suspension inspection before something breaks and sends you into a tree or a semi truck. This car has an oddball front suspension with two lower ball joints per front wheel. The inner and outer tie rods, struts, anti-sway bar links and bushings, and upper strut mounts should be checked too.

Sears Auto Centers and some tire shops will do the inspection for free in hopes of selling the work.
