1997 Dodge Avenger gas leak

hi.. i have a gas leak underneath my car by the rear passenger side wheel by the gas tank. everytime i turn the key on it leaks n sprays onto the tank.. im not sure what it is called, if its a fuel pump . or fuel filter, or fuel injector.. im not really good in cars.. do you have any ideas?

Hi:
If it's spraying and coming from above the tank, it sounds like one of the steel lines have rusted and ruptured. The only way to get to them is by removing the tank.
