Electrical problem
1997 Dodge Avenger 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
I have a question/problem and I'm hoping you may be able to help. I bought a new tire pump with a cigarette lighter plug in. I recently tried pumping up my tire and after about five minutes the pump shut off. I used the pump in my brothers car so I know it still works.
For my current solutions: I have checked all the fuses under the hood. I checked all the fuses in the car under the steering wheel. I bought a new cigarette lighter from autozone thinking that the device itself may have stopped working, but the new one which I replaced still didn't work. I'm trying to use the cigarette lighter for my Garmin and it still won't work.
Do you have any other solutions? I am lost. I don't know what would cause it to stop working after all the changes i've made. Please help!
