1996 Dodge Avenger 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

my car has a few pin holes on the exhaust and is broken in half after the cadlic converter, it also smells really bad like stong gas. It is also running very rich out the tail pipe. What could cause this and how can I fix it at home?

Probable causes of an engine running rich are as follows:

1. Excessive fuel pressure can be cause by restricted fuel return line or defective fuel pressure regulator.
2. Defective Oxygen Sensors.
3. Leaking injectors and fuel pressure regulator.
4. Coolant temperature sensor out of calibration.
5. Restricted air intake system.
