1989 Dodge Aries starting problems

I have a 89' Dodge Aries and it is having starting problems. I can get it started if i keep at it for a while but if it sits over night it will start and then immediately shut off. Why is it doing this, i thought it was something to do with the carbourater

Verify whether its a Carb or an EFI system
