1989 Dodge Aries engine turns over but wont start

We are getting fire and fuel turnsover but wont start no fuse blown coil and dist. wire and plug and timing belt have all been replaced.

Is the engine original? Could it be a compression problem?

Hi:
If the engine is getting gas, spark, and is in time, I would have a compression test performed. If the compression it too low, the engine won't run.

Do you have a compression gauge? Let me know and I'll explain what to do.
