A/C compressor not turning on

The air compressor for the A/C will not come on. Does the A/C have a fuse?

Hello, I am Danny.

Quick question first. When was the last time refrigerant was added or A/C system serviced? The A/C system has a built in cut-off switch so that when a low level of refrigerant is detected it shuts off the system to prevent damage. Yes, the system is fused and also has a relay. Thank you. After the checking the Freon with a gauge it was low. Charged it it works fine. Thanks.
