I have the car listed above se model. I have a check engine light with codes p1800 p0720 p1574 p0650. When driving the car the gear wont go pass 3,000 rpm's and when it reaches 3,000 rpm's the tachometer needle jumps fast between 2,000 rpm's and 3,000 rpm's and makes the car shake back and forth. I changed the vehicle speed sensor thinking that might be the problem but the car still does the same thing. When you clear the codes from the cars computer the car drives perfectly but the check engine light will come back on a day later and the car will start acting up again. Do you think I need to just get a new transmission?

Your description sounds more like a wiring issue that is causing the problems. The fact that clearing the codes makes it fine for a while also points to that. I would start by tracing the wiring harness from the transmission, you will want to look it over close for chaffing or other damage, especially at tight areas or corners and retainers. Check the harness connections for corrosion and damage as well. You may need to remove the tape or protective loom to check close. Something like two wires rubbing together or a wire rubbing a ground could cause this.

Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can see what's going on? That would be great. You can upload it here with your response.
