Car was running really great one day and the next day got in car and it started right up but runs a little rough. It does not have the pick-up it had and when I got where I was going I could smell gasoline.

First, any fuel leak can be dangerous, so it needs repaired. If you smell the fuel on the outside of the vehicle, check under it, locate the fuel line from the tank and trace it up to the engine compartment. Based on the vehicle's year, it may have rusted. If the smell is more inside or coming from under the hood, focus under the hood of the vehicle.

Could it be my o2 sensor? I only smell gas when driving not when idling and gas gauge does not go down.

Doubtful unless the sensor is telling the vehicle to run extremely rich and unburned fuel is making it through the exhaust.
