Hi Boyet,
Your ground wire (black wire) is melting because you have an open on one of your other grounds most likely and this is overheating the other ground.
You need to measure continuity to ground on both of these terminals. Meaning, put the red lead of you meter on the terminal of the connector, then put the black lead of the meter on a good ground, preferably the negative battery post. Then have your meter set to ohms or resistance and see what the measurement is. It should be less than 0.5 ohms. If it is higher then you have resistance in that wire or if it is infinite or open resistance then you have a broken wire.
A melted wire just means that you have a short somewhere so we just need to find it. However, if you already have melted wires, you will need to repair or replace the damaged connector and wire.
