After installing a new distributor, the car will not start?

I put a new distributor own my car listed above, four doors. it will not start; do you have to set the timing?

The distributor only goes in one way, I would look at the old distributor to see where the bolt was on the adjustment and put the new one there, it should start. If not let's check for spark, this video should help you:
