While checking the cap and rotor I noticed that the distributor was loose in the engine. It moved side to side and front to back.
I do not remember it being that loose the one time I had it removed. Do I have a bad distributor, or should it move like this when I remove the hold down bolt?

if the hold down bolt is removed it will move all over, if its not then the distributor may be broken like the housing.
