I am leaving for two weeks, but my car is going to be staying unused in a garage (downtown) in Nebraska. Do I need to disconnect my battery? I left it for a month before and it needed jumped/battery replaced.

It would be a good idea. You would have to reset some things after picking up, but it still should be charged. Most it would need is a jump.

With all of the items on a modern vehicle that draw power even when they are shut off I keep anything parked more than a couple days on a battery tender. If the garage has power that would be the best option. If not then disconnecting the battery will work, just be prepared for the car to run a bit different when you come back as the computer will need to re-learn a few control parameters.
