Disabling Day Running Light

My headlights always on. We have sunny weather most of the year and don't have headlight safety restriction law.
I wish to disable the DRL & keeping the auto-lights operative. Heard about disconnecting G57 from the BCM or unplugging the G88 from the Dash above gloves box would do the job. I need to be certain before starting and if there is any other way.

Hello,

It looks like you can just remove the DRL relay or fuse here is the headlight wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works and the relay location as well. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
