Dipped beam light

I was driving when the dipped beam light bulb got burnt and the immediately the car stop moving faster sometimes the engine will switch off and i have to restart again
Also the engine fault starts showing up on the dash board.
Can the bulb cause any these, please kindly let me know, thanks.

The headlamps are part of a network that is controlled by a module. Without getting too technical, it is possible that the wiring at the headlamp bulb socket can be damaged and touching other wires that could be bare. Bmw has this issue as well due to bad wiring insulation that crumbles with age. A good healthy inspection is what I would do at this point! If you do find bare wires, there is a product called liquid electrical tape that works great for this issue because of the location and accessibility.
