Recently had work done on my car which required disconnecting the battery, my car listed above is an EX with the digital AC/radio/GPS, etc, controls. After getting my car back the clock reset to 1:00 and after going to the settings attempting to change the time zone or manually does not work. The touch screen works normally however when clicking on Hour +/- or Minute +/- neither seem to work despite giving the visual and audible confirmation of being pressed. The clock runs normally on its own, displaying the wrong time, but the controls themselves have ceased to work.

Clearly this sounds like an issue with the radio controls as the clock is just a display but the fact that it responds to you pressing the buttons but does not change the time makes me think it could just be a glitch. So let's try and unhook the battery again and do what is called a capacitive discharge.

This is where you take both cables off and touch them together then leave them off for 10 minutes. This will drain all modules of the memory and force them to go through a reset when you reconnect the battery.

This is no different then when an app on your phone stops working and then you restart the phone and it works.

Let us know what happens after this and we can go from there. Thanks

Hi Kenny, I did as you said and the clock again reset to 1:00 and I had to put in both codes, but the time still doesn't change when pressing the on screen buttons.

Do you know the last time you reset the time? I suspect this unit failed a while ago and you just have not had to reset the clock so you never knew.

Unfortunately, it appears the only fix it to replace the unit. Do you have navigation? Maybe get a picture of the unit and the clock that is not changing and we can get repair instructions on how to replace it. Thanks
