Had the rear end replaced (differential) approx 3 weeks ago. Last week the car became 'unmanageable' on the hwy - steering with great difficulty and much grinding. Felt like the axle was coming off/apart. Had it towed to shop that replaced the rear end. Was advised it needed the front differential replace along with a bent tie rod and axle problems. - Repairs were made and then repair shop took it for a test drive and noted tht problems still persisted. - Shop owner discovered tht the wrong rear end had been used in the first repair - the 'ratio' was incorrect. MY QUESTION: is it likely that the incorrect rear differential (with the wrong ratio) caused the problem with the front diff.?
