I was at a stop light and heard a thunk, and then the howling noise starts

So, why would I hear a think then feel something at my feet if it’s the differential? I’m stumped. not a wheel bearing because only does when accelerating and when let off it’s a whirr almost a whine kind, but there’s no gasket? Or the kid at Oriley's put my make in wrong.

Hi,

If you were stopped when you heard it, I wouldn't think it has to do with the differential. Nothing would have been moving to cause a thunk.

Is the sound loud enough for you to record and upload for me to hear? If it is, could you do that?
