Diesel fuel in gas car

I put 2 gallons of diesel fuel into a gas car. The car had 4 lines of gas left and I drove it about 40 minutes after adding the diesel to the car and it did not break down. Do I need to get the gas tank drained? It is a 15 gallon tank.

Good morning,

No. You need to top off the tank with premium fuel and drive it. Since there is no external fuel filter, you cannot change that without replacing the fuel pump.

Add the fuel, drive it and see if you have any issues. I think you are good to go. The worse case is you may have to replace the fuel pump but I doubt that will happen.
