Shuts off when given gas

My truck starts up and idles fine and at first drives fine but after a minute or two when I give it gas it does, but if I push it to the floor and let up real fast it will spitter spur down the road but if I touch the gas, it shuts off.

Hi,

Based on your description, it sounds like it could be fuel related. Have you checked fuel pressure? Also, have you ever noticed any black or dark gray smoke from the exhaust?

Is the check engine light staying on? If so, have you checked for diagnostic trouble codes? If you have, let me know what they are. Also, if your scan tool has live data, let me know what the short-term fuel trims are.
