There are no codes. Runs in reverse, idles in neutral and park. My husband checked for vacuum leaks said there was none. Trans fluid looks good. Think it might be torque converter or solenoid. Everyone tells me vacuum leak. We can push gas to rev up rpm from neutral then go into drive and the car goes forward. Other than doing that it will die as soon as I put it in drive.

Good afternoon my name is Roy and I will assist

I suspect the torque converter has failed and is in lock up mode. Someone with a scan tool can monitor the trans side to determine if it is commanded on.

We manually activated all solenoids car now stays running in drive but is very rough and drivable. The tcc solenoid and the shift solenoids all clicked when checked. Trans shifts fine to overdrive but downshifting seems to be sluggish. What would you suggest we look at next?
