Dies instantly after i changed the valve cover gasket?

After i changed the valve cover gasket and put everything back where it goes, my truck starts and turns over then instanly dies. Unless im pushing the gas pedal then it will reve up as i push the gas but once i let off the brake if automatically dies. Rght away. And when i push on the gas to keep it runnin after it dies when i let up, theres a strong odor of gas or fumes or something that appears.

Yep, something is not right, did it sounds like that before you started the repairs. also did you remove the spark plugs? I would make sure the ignition coils are in the right place and can you please give me a video of the engine so I can look at it? Here is what the coils should look like when installed. Check out the images (below). Let me know how it goes
