My car shuts off and acts like it is out of fuel. Replaced fuel pump/fuel filter/fuel pressure regulator. Runs until about 2:30- 3:00 pm then shuts off. I turn the key on and off it starts runs about a block and a half then shuts off. Anybody have any ideas? I do live in Las Vegas, NV. Could the heat have anything to do with it? 96 degrees today, Thank you

Yep, it sound like the engine is overheating and the computer is shutting it off. but to be sure lets run the codes to see what comes up. here is a guide:

Please run down this guide and report back.

I had a plastic hose off at the EGR valve. Po411 code is gone now. I put in new fuel pump and it acts like it is losing prime. Any ideas? I have no codes. Thank you Ken.

I have seen engine coolant temperature sensors short out when hot. Can you disconnect the sensor and then run the car to see if anything changes? Here is the location. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

Changed out coolant temperature sensor no difference, acts like fuel pump loses prime going to pull and check hoses and see if any leaks. Going to do fuel pressure check. Have a bad vibration when running at all times, I am thinking maybe not enough fuel. Thank you for taking time to help Ken.
