Shut off while driving?

While driving engine cut off, would start, but would not kick over what broken belt could cause it not to start again that’s associated with the crankshaft sensor.

Yes, the timing belt failure shuts the engine down and will not start. If you can upload a short video of the engine cranking over, I can tell for sure what's going on. here is a guide that can help, and I have included how to change the timing belt out in case you need it:
