I put some oil in my car and after that it started smoking real bad and a rattling noise started when I get up to a certain speed. Did I put the wrong oil in my car?

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.com.

Where is the smoke coming from, the engine compartment area or the exhaust? As far as the type of oil, I attached the required oil type and specifications. Additionally, the total amount the engine takes when a full oil change is done.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions. Additionally, if you did not use the recommend type of oil, let me know what was used.

Take care,
Joe
