My car will not start. I took it to Cadillac and they said that a bearing on my crankshaft spun. I have changed the timing chain on the car myself hoping it would fix the problem. That was an epic fail.
I can take all the parts off up to that point put I would so love a diagram on how to take the crankshaft out from there. Thank you.

Good morning.

Are you prepared for this? You need to remove the engine from the car and put it on a engine stand. Then you will need to disassemble the entire engine down to the crankshaft.

This is a major job and you may have well rebuild the entire motor as you will have it all apart.
