Diagnostic test link error

My code reader says link error.

Couple questions, this is a 1995 so it should have the under dash DLC and the under hood DLC. Which are you connecting to that is telling you this? What type of scan tool are you using?

The normal cause of this issue is either there is no power or ground to the module that you are trying to communicate with or other issues with the module. Or the scan tool that you are using is not compatible with this vehicle. Take a look at the wiring diagrams and it shows which modules connect to each DLC. Let's start with this and go from there. Thanks.
