So far, my car is not overheating but I don't know. I'm not feeling my car but it is not overheating so I'm hoping for the best. Vehicle has a delay when I put in the gears. When I reverse it has a small little delay like I think it's a transmission. I don't know when I open the door, when I unlock it all the windows roll down, I don't know if that is normal. I just bought this car about two months ago for my son his first car, so I tried to get him the good kind of car which I think I got him a really bad car. When I brake it kind of brakes like hard and check engine light is on, o2sensor knocking sensor heating PCM sensor.

Hi,

First, could you let me know all the codes that were found? The transmission issue could be something as simple as low fluid. Have you checked the level and condition? And no, the windows shouldn't go down when you unlock the vehicle. That sounds like an issue in the main window switch on the driver's side.

The things you mentioned, O2 sensor, knock sensor, and (heating PCM sensor) can lead to drivability issues, but I'm not familiar with a PCM heating sensor. I suspect it has to do with a heated oxygen sensor, but please confirm.

Here is a link that explains in general how to check the fluid. This vehicle should have a dipstick for checking which does make it easier.

Let me know as much as you can. Also, I attached the checking procedure specific to your vehicle below.

Take care,

Joe

Hi,

The Lucas won't hurt anything. I looked at the codes and the one that has my attention most is the knock sensor. The sensor is used to fine-tune the ignition timing. It could be causing issues. The other code related to the O2 sensor I question if it would cause a stall.

In a way, this may be really good news since it doesn't seem related to the transmission.

I went through each code you have via Alldata and first I went to the knock sensor diagnostics. It indicates if any other codes are with the P0325, the other code should be diagnosed first, which takes us to the O2 sensor.

Since it is a low voltage issue, the first thing I need you to do is simply check the sensor wiring and connector. Anything that could prevent a good connection can cause a low voltage signal.

I attached a pic below showing the location of the bank 2 sensor 2 location. Check this first. Also, let me know if the scanner you have will provide live data.

Take care and let me know.

Joe

Hi,

I did watch the video. The smoke could be from nearly anything such as oil leaking onto the exhaust. However, my biggest concern is with the steering. You indicated at times you can drive straight with the wheel centered, and other times, it is approximately 90 degrees different. By no means should that be happening.

Do me a favor, since you are hearing a noise in the front, safely lift one front wheel at a time off the ground and place your hands at 3 and 9 o'clock. Wiggle the wheel back and forth to see if it moves without the opposite side of the wheel moving.

Then, do the same with your hands at 6 and 12 o'clock.

Let me know what you find.

No problem. If anything is that loose in the front end, please make sure it is safe to drive. Also, if you find there is play, video it so I can see how much and better guide you.

So, maybe I should get my car for an alignment and take it from there. What do you think I should do? I'm like so frustrated with this car.
