defroster not working properly?

The fan blows air cannot control the flow of air when selecting floor dash vents or defrost. no flow is changed, it seems to be in defrost mode but not the speed that is achieved when hitting the defrost mode.

Hi,

If you have lost control of the airflow direction, chances are the mode door actuator has failed.

A mode door actuator is what determines the airflow direction based on your request. Take a look through this link. You may find it helpful.

If you look below, I attached the directions for replacing the actuator on your vehicle. Do me a favor. Remove the actuator and while it is still connected, see if it responds when you change airflow direction. If there is no response, chances are it is the actuator.
