When I turn my engine and then turn the fan on for defroster, I get a clicking sound. I turn the control knob to floor slowly, wait a minute or two, then back to defrost. Times it works first time, others after a couple tries.

Hello,

This could be a problem with your mode door actuator, which controls the door which distributes the air to proper vents. In the diagrams down below I have included the instructions from the vehicle manufacturer for the removal and installation of the mode door actuator for your vehicle[Manual HVAC System]. Please go through this guide and get back to us with how everything turns out.

Thanks,
Alex
