Where is the defrost actuator located and how to replace it?

Where is the defrost actuator located on the car listed above and also how do i change it?

Hi,

This vehicle's actuators are controlled by an engine vacuum. In most cases, there is a leak that causes failure to airflow direction.

I would recommend making that determination first because the defroster actuator (which is vacuum operated) requires the removal if the instrument panel carrier. (Not a fun job)

I need to know if the defroster is the only thing that is working or if it won't switch to defrost. Let me know. Also, with the engine running, see if you can hear an air leak/hissing sound from the dash area.

Also, I attached the directions for you below for both the carrier and the defroster mode actuator. I started with the carrier.
