Defrost not working properly

Windows won't defrost while driving.

Hi,

Are you getting airflow to the windshield? Is the air coming into the vehicle warm? Does the AC work?

There is an actuator called the mode door actuator that directs airflow. I need to first know the answers to the above questions to better direct you.

I attached a pic below showing the location of the mode door actuator, but I don't want you to go through the trouble of removing it until I know if there is or isn't airflow at the windshield. Also, let me know if you can change between the floor and vents.

Also, make sure you are allowing fresh air to enter the vehicle. Don't keep it on recirculate all the time. Note, that if the A/C is nonfunctional, that will lessen the effectiveness of the defroster.
