fuel pressure sensor?

Please can you help me locate the name and the function of a sensor which is situated on the left bank beside the injectors, it got broken and I have difficulties starting the car. I will send and image of this part I took before replacing my head gasket.

This is a Q7 supercharged 3.0Tsfi, and this sensor is located beside the 3 left injectors when standing in front of the engine. Mine got broken, I need to know its name and function please.

I did see the image? I think you are referring to the fuel pressure sensor. Here is an image of it so you can do the repair. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Hi Ken, your reply comes as good news. So do you mean that code is fuel pressure sensor, but what the ecu keeps telling me is intake camshaft sensor, but what you just said right there makes a whole lot of sense. Please can you specify the exact location of this fuel pressure sensor?

I don't see the image you uplaods so I had to guess but from what you have described that should be the sensor you care talking about which is on the fuel rail where the fuel injectors are. You will need to remove the upper intake manifold to get to it.
