This ridiculous idea if having these cars where most people spend a ton of time just to remove them, like I did. Is there a set number for the size? I want to buy ones that do not have these decorative caps, how do I go about that without having to go to a store 100 times? Is there a size that is general to most of these cars where I can buy these plugs online?

Hi,

If you want to replace the lugnuts with an OEM type, they are metric in size. You will need to get an M14 x 1.50 thread size. The length or depth of the lug nut should be 1.4" The degree of angle where the nut touches the wheel is 40 degrees.

If you go to a parts store and provide the year make and model, they will be able to get the right ones for you.

I attached a picture below from an AutoZone site showing what you need. The part number is also listed.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
