Dealer recommended to replace the drive belt, some cracks on it. Recommend drive belt tensioner because of leak.
Also a water pump kit. For sure drive belt is in need of replacement soon. But isn't all that repair overkill?

Hello,

Not if the water pump is leaking or the bearing is failing. This could be the reason the drive belt and tensioner is starting to fail. Regardless, in the diagrams down below I have included the instructions for inspecting your vehicle's water pump, so you can be informed if it really needs to be replaced or not. Please go through this guide and get back to us with what you find out. Oh, the guide is from the vehicle manufacturer, so there should be no discrepancies between what you find and what the dealer found. I hope this helps.

Thanks,
Alex
