Accelerator pedal not working properly

Car has 193,000 miles. drives fine. other day parked car now it won’t accelerate accelerator pedal not working. I cleaned throttle body but no change.

Hi,

This vehicle has a throttle position sensor and an accelerator pedal position sensor. My guess is one has failed.

Before replacing parts, we really should have the computer scanned for diagnostic trouble codes. Have you done that yet? If not, that is what needs to be done first.

I realize the vehicle isn't drivable at this time. However, see if there is a parts store that will lend you a scanner. Often times they will.

Let me know what is found. If there are codes, let me know them also.
