How to access the air blower and cabin filter in search of dead rodent or signs in my 2003 es 300? How to prevent future infestation by mice or rats? What may the other locations to check for a nest or dead rodent. Have done thorough cabin cleaning and a brief visual check of engine component. Only going by smell and opinion of my car detailer.

The cabin air filter is located behind the glove box. As far as other things to check, you may have to check the heater core box. Does the smell seem to get worse when you turn on the heat?
