Changed alternator, battery is new, but car wont turn over. it clicks but wont crank. checked relay and ground.

Sometimes your battery connections are corroded or just not tight enough due to not being fully seated or the nut/ bolt is bottomed out or broken off. If you can move them bare-handed they are too loose.
Sometimes new things can be bad or go bad shortly later (most places give you a warranty on a battery).
It may be that with everything in good working order, but the "wire path" from the good alternator ain't making it over to charge the good battery (this may be a fusible link issue). Basically, you are running your battery down and the alternator is unable to help!
Will it jump start?
Is it possible your jumper cables were put on wrong (even for seconds)?
